Surviving in the Corporate World

Salsa - or further li(o)ves

I took my first steps in my 20s, but things really took off with a two-week trip to Cuba in 2015. And the reason for getting back into salsa was a strange one. No, not love, but the realisation that I desperately needed a balance to my job (see left). My class in the evening forced me to leave the office and throw myself into life.

Strength training, pros and cons

There’s a saying in my gym: “t’s not getting easier, you are getting stronger”. There’s probably some truth in that. I started this sport almost 10 years ago. Even though my blazers and tops are getting a little tighter on my arms now, I’m glad I started this way. Having this regular appointment in my calendar not only keeps me from losing muscle, it keeps me from losing other things too.
